Responsibilities:
Tear down damaged vehicles and assist with damage analysis.
Repair cosmetic damage to pre-accident condition using the latest industry accepted repair techniques, methods and equipment.
Replace and align new and/or used body panels.
Replace and install trim as needed.
Must metal finish to prescribed standards.
Prepare bodywork to prescribed level for refinish department.
Re-assemble vehicles after refinish process are completed.
Restore corrosion protection to pre-accident standard.
Maintain clean and organized work area.
Must meet company recognized production standards.
Assist manager as needed.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Must have own tools.
Capable of restoring damaged sheet metal or plastic to company recognized standards.
Self-starter; team player.
Must have an interesting completing quality work.
Able to perform a variety of tasks at once.
Able to work accurately and rapidly with strong attention to detail.
Above average organizational skills.
Able to pass I-CAR Welding test.
Have working knowledge of proper corrosion protection restoring techniques.
Able to stand, bend, squat, lift, move and carry up to 50 pounds.
Must be physically able to wear a respirator.
Must be able to properly work with MIG welders, vacuum operated tools, tram gauges, and hand tools.
