Craig's Collision Supports the Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Chilldren

Craig's Collision employees participated in the Dallas White Rock Marathon benefitting the Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children. Craig's Collision Center helped raise money and awareness for the Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children, a world leader in the treatment of pediatric orthopedic conditions located in Dallas, Texas. In its 41st year, the Dallas White Rock Marathon had 22,000 runners and race officials plan to present the children's hospital with a $500,000 check in early 2011.

Established in 1921, the Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children treats Texas children with orthopedic conditions, such as scoliosis, clubfoot, hip disorders and limb length differences, as well as certain related neurological disorders and learning disorders, such as dyslexia. This facility is close to the heart of two Craig's Collision employees, Jean and Tracy Piccola. Jean's son and Tracy's brother, Jeff, was born with Spina Bifida, a neural tube birth defect.

Tracy Piccola comments, "This hospital supported my family and gave us hope while growing up with a little brother with Spina Bifida. Coping with this birth defect was challenging for all of my family, but Scottish Rite Hospital made it their mission to help my brother and to comfort our family in the process. Supporting this marathon is a way we can do our part to support Texas Scottish Rite Hospital in their efforts to reach other families with these types of challenges."
